A Traditional Union of Families

Jennifer & Mike's wedding was really our first experience with a super traditional catholic ceremony. It was held in a quaint little church in Nipomo with gorgeous stained glass windows and a tall arched ceiling. It was so awesome to see all the traditions that many of today's modern weddings don't include. There was just such a general sense of love and especially family as many of their family and friends stood up at the front with them to give the newleyweds gifts and shower them with their love.

But booooy did the dancing commence that night! We were introduced to Little John's new(ish) song 'Shots!' that evening and it was... in one word... epic. All of Jennifer and Mikes friends- even grandpa- was out there rockin' out to Little John! It was an awesome sight.

Great Scott! The Scotts are hitched!

Vanessa & Travis' ceremony was the simplest, most quaint ceremony of ours to date. They got married surrounded by their friends and family (literally... their guests stood in a circle around the couple... I know, loved it) and surrounded by the epitome of what this beautiful planet has to offer- soft sand, waves, a warm, sunny day with a few patchy clouds in the sky... it was a beautiful day for a wedding. Their decorations were simple- sunflowers were Vanessa's inspiration as you can see below. But it was really awesome because everyone just seemed so focused on the couple; their love and their vows- nothing else.

Oh... and not to mention... if this little boy's parents weren't within eye shot, I would have scooped him up, put him in my purse and smuggled him out of the wedding.... What a doll! Look at that blonde hair and those vibrant blue eyes! Clearly he's already quite the ladies man.

Thank you Scotts for an awesome Saturday. Beautiful wedding. Beautiful venue. Amazingly beautiful couple.
